I'm 20 and im in love with someone who is in their 40's.?

I know it sounds crazy but I have known him over 2 years and I know they are a good person. I know age is just a number and if you love somebody it shouldn't matter. I just have a feeling my family would totally disapprove and my best friend would probably hate me too.
