My dog is throwing up?

Vomiting/diarrhea and red soars after a surgical procedure could be related to a possible reaction to anesthetic, medication, pain, or the stress of the experience. Please call and follow the veterinarian's instructions... usually vomiting/diarrhea care instructions are: nothing (no food or water) by mouth for 24 hours; then, if vomiting has stopped reintroduce small amounts of water only for the next 24 hours; if still no vomiting/diarrhea then slowly reintroduce food on day three. If, at any point, the dog restarts or continues vomiting/diarrhea, call your vet again as there could be something more serious going on.
