How do you give a VERY stubborn dog a pill?

wow. I have never heard of a dog being THAT stubborn. I ran out of hotdogs once and had to use the shove-down-the-throat-and-hold-til-he-sw… method with my smooth collie once and it was a pain in the ***! Ask your vet for some advice.
