Help with my new green anole..?!?

Hello(: i got a female anole yesterday at petco. right now it has a UVA/UVB lamp and heat lamp(60wts) above the 10 gal tank. im feeding it crickets and it seems to like those. the tank has a stump looking display i bought at walmart that has plastic plants protruding. also, how do i keep the humidity level in the tank? i am using a $1 spray bottle i bought at walmart and put purified water in. I spray the tank like every hour but i feel like there is a better way or maybe i am spraying it too much? ive been told only to spray it twice a day but i got a hygrometer today and im having a hard time keeping the humidity at 50% constantly. within an hour it goes down to 40%, is this bad? also, would it be appropriate for me to hold the anole or not? she is approx 5-6in from snout to tip of tail, please help! ive never had a reptile. how long should i leave the lights on? all day? i was told it is only supposed to be on while im awake and off when i sleep but ive read that the anole turns brown when its cold or stressed and green when its warm and happy. it is usually brown by morning and i dont know what to do.
