it was actually state capitalism and lenin started out great until stalin came in and lenin said he did not want stalin as his successor and stalin came in and killed lenins men and did things lenin and marx would disapprove of like the state capitalism and the personality cult and true communism will have to be started in an advanced capitalist society like the usa so the ussr was not true communism
